Branding and Marketing
The brief was to create a new brand to market the largest building on the Cobalt Business Park. The building has been vacant since completion 2 years ago, with a campaign aimed at letting the entire building and using the existing Cobalt Park Branding. As this approach was unsuccessful the client felt a multiple letting opportunity and individual branding would be more effective.
With the relaunch into the market it was decided a bold design was required with a new name. The brand concept, game changing, came from the shape of the buildings floorplate as it resembled one of the four block tetris shapes. This playful concept worked perfectly as a key USP of the building is the remarkable range of staff benefits through an impressive selection of onsite amenities and events.
The four block shape not only inspired the logo but influenced the pattern. These individually filled squares, with the use of bold colours, have helped in creating a friendly and playful design that enhances the concept and creates a strong visual identity.
Cobalt Park has its own website where information on all buildings can be found. So to extend brand visibility, a separate landing page has been designed. Using a grid of squares housing key words as roll over points to display an image and brief summary of the offer. The two pattern squares reveal a grid of bright colour and imagery to create a visual overview.
